About the Role

Shaw Healthcare is looking for a Senior Support Worker to join the team at Plas Cae Crwn. The team is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of service users by delivering the highest standard of care. Plas Cae Crwn is a highly valued care provider, with service users’ needs at the centre of everything.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will use the latest care technology to spend more quality time with service users. You will have previous experience working with older people in residential care and possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide care and support to older people in a residential setting.

  • Build strong relationships with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.

  • Ensure care plans are followed and updated accurately.

  • Work collaboratively with the team and follow organisational guidelines and policies.

  • Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment for all.

Requirements

  • Experience in residential care for older people.

  • Flexibility, patience, and a caring, organised nature.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) completed or in progress.
