Job Overview

Anglian Care is looking for Care Assistants to join their team and make a real difference in people’s lives. This role involves supporting individuals in their own homes by providing practical, physical, emotional, and social care.

About the Role

As a Community Care Assistant at Anglian Care, responsibilities include:

  • Providing care and support to adults in their own homes
  • Assisting with personal care such as bathing, toileting, food and fluids
  • Supporting with medication and domestic duties
  • Promoting independence and wellbeing
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Maintaining dignity, respect, and professionalism at all times

Pay & Shift Patterns

  • Day shifts: 7am – 4pm
  • Evening shifts: 4pm – 10pm
  • Alternate weekend working required

Hourly rates:

  • £13.25 – Day shifts
  • £13.50 – Evening shifts
  • £13.75 – Weekend day
  • £14.00 – Weekend evening

Shift patterns are arranged based on availability.

Requirements

  • No prior care experience required (full training provided)
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Must have access to a personal vehicle with business insurance
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, and alternate weekends

Additional Information
