Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and take orders accurately and efficiently

• Offer menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales

• Set up tables, clear dishes, and maintain cleanliness during service

• Comply with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery

• Handle guest enquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly

• Process payments accurately using the POS system and issue receipts

• Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Previous hospitality or restaurant service experience preferred but not essential; training provided

• Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation is advantageous

• Strong organisational skills with effective time management

• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner

• Basic maths skills for billing purposes

• Experience in fast-paced culinary or kitchen environments is desirable
