Role Overview

Simply-Docs is an online subscription business providing UK legal document templates to SMEs. This role sits at the centre of our day-to-day operations, combining hands-on marketing execution with core administrative support.

You will help drive and improve our marketing activity (SEO, PPC and email marketing campaigns), while also running key back-office processes, managing our customer database, and providing customer support by phone and email.

In addition, you will provide first-line support for our e-Sign and online document storage functions.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is organised, commercially minded, and comfortable balancing marketing tasks with administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support SEO and PPC delivery, including keyword research, improving page content (titles/page summaries/internal links), basic content updates, and performance tracking.

  • Assist with email marketing campaigns.

  • Identify and implement practical website improvements to increase conversions.

  • Provide first-line support for e-Sign and online document storage queries; log issues and escalate where needed.

  • Handle routine admin/back-office tasks, including customer contact and subscription administration support.

  • Customer database management: maintain accurate customer records and ensure data is up to date and consistent.

  • Monitor and respond to Trustpilot and Google reviews in a professional, brand-consistent tone.

Essential Requirements

  • 1–3 years’ hands-on experience in digital marketing (in-house or agency), with practical involvement in SEO, PPC and email marketing.

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.

  • Confident with data and reporting (Excel/Google Sheets).

  • Strong written English and the ability to write clear, professional customer and internal communications.

  • Comfortable using web-based systems and Microsoft 365.

Helpful Experience (Desirable)

  • Campaigner (or similar email marketing platform).

  • Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (MSA/Bing).

  • GA4 and Google Search Console.

  • Experience improving website performance and landing pages (conversion rate optimisation).

  • Experience in an online subscription business.

  • Basic HTML skills.
