Job Overview

National Courier And Logistics is seeking reliable and professional Drivers to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes.

This role requires excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and strong communication abilities to coordinate with the team and clients effectively. The Driver will play a vital part in maintaining the company’s reputation for punctuality and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of vehicles, including flatbed lorries, for delivery purposes
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations
• Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to guarantee safety standards are met
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance logs
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company policies during operations

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience operating flatbed vehicles or similar large transport equipment
• Excellent communication skills to liaise clearly with team members and clients
• Prior warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding loading procedures
• Familiarity with <PERSON> driver requirements or certifications is preferred
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently under minimal supervision
