Care Assistant – UK Visa Sponsorship

Avanti Homecare is based in Derbyshire and has branches in Ilkeston, Long Eaton, and Ripley.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing care and support to individuals living in their own home to a high standard

• Assisting clients with bathing, grooming, and getting dressed

• Handling household tasks such as grocery shopping and laundry

• Preparing and serving meals at the appropriate times

• Administering and organising medication

• Collaborating with health care and social care professionals to provide the best possible care

• Completing visit notes that are detailed, accurate, and true

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• A minimum of 1 year’s care experience

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car, or a UK driving licence with access to a motorbike or moped

• Ability to practice empathy within the workplace

• Team player with good listening skills

• Positive attitude towards work and colleagues

• Leading through example in the community and with colleagues

• Competitive rate of pay: £12.82 per hour (weekdays and weekends) plus £2.10 per house visited
