Pay & Benefits

• Domiciliary Care: £13.40 – £14.40 per hour

• Complex Care: £14.75 – £15.75 per hour

Role and Responsibilities

As a Home Care Worker, responsibilities include:

• Personal care (washing, dressing, continence support)

• Medication and meal preparation

• Household tasks and daily routines

• Encouraging independence and providing companionship

Opportunities with 6 months’ experience include:

• Complex Care: Support individuals with spinal injuries, neurological disorders, and respiratory needs. Training includes tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, postural support, and more.

• Children’s Support: Provide personal care, emotional support, and daily assistance for children and young people with complex needs.

• Mental Health Support: Offer practical and emotional support to help individuals manage routines, reduce isolation, and build confidence.

No prior experience? Alcedo Care’s Induction Training will equip you with the skills and confidence required.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old

• Flexible availability, including alternate weekends

• Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references

• For Complex Care, Children’s, or Mental Health roles: at least 6 months of hands-on UK care experience
