Deben Willow Care Ltd is based within Woodbridge and is a privately-owned provider of care services within the community. Deben Willow Care Ltd is looking for committed Community Care Workers to join the existing team.

Role Overview

As a member of the community care team, you will visit clients in their own homes helping them to remain independent, supporting them and offering services including personal care, medication support, companionship, amongst a non-exhaustive list of support tasks that support and assist individuals to remain independent, safe, happy, and content within their own home environment.

Skills and Requirements

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a range of skills including knowledge within the sector, empathy, self-awareness, effective communication, as well as traits as a positive carer and demonstrating high levels of care and service delivery.

• Personal development

• All training face to face

• In order to be considered for this position you must hold a driving licence and your own transport

• An enhanced DBS and references will be required upon a position being offered

• Good timekeeping essential

• Computer-based knowledge essential

Working Hours and Contract

A 45-hour per week contract is offered on a two-week fixed roster.

There is the opportunity for additional overtime should you wish to supplement holiday and staff absence.
