Job Summary
The Office of the Leeds Independent Inquiry was established following the announcement by the Secretary of State in October 2025. The Data Analyst & Project Officer will work within the team to support and coordinate activities related to the processing of data for the inquiry.
This role requires expertise in data analysis, project management, and the application of the Leeds Improvement Method. The post holder will ensure the programme of work is delivered effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with Trust Policies and Procedures.
Main Duties of the Job
- Analyse high volumes of data and manage its collation from multiple sources
- Create and maintain databases and data capture systems for stakeholders
- Produce performance reports and respond to changes as they arise during the inquiry
- Manage stakeholder relationships both internally and externally to ensure efficient and effective production of deliverables

- Degree in a business-related or IT-related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience
Experience

- Specialist experience in business or data analysis and requirements definition for new systems/services in health organisations
- Experience liaising with stakeholders to define system requirements
- Ability to work autonomously with technical and business teams on defined projects
- Strong reporting, planning, and analytical skills
- Experience developing scenarios and user requirements
- Ability to analyse processes and present suitable alternatives to stakeholders
- High level of computer literacy and willingness to further develop skills
Desirable
- Understanding of technology-enabled healthcare delivery
- Knowledge of project management procedures
- Experience with K2 Maternity electronic record system, PAS, PPM+, and PLICS databases
