Job Overview

Elm Lodge Care Home is recruiting an experienced Registered Care Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the care home. This is a senior leadership role with direct accountability for regulatory compliance, care quality, staff performance, and operational management.

This role is suitable only for candidates with proven management experience in a CQC-regulated care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall management of the residential care home in line with CQC regulations

• Maintain and improve care quality, compliance, and inspection outcomes

• Recruit, lead, supervise, and develop staff teams

• Ensure safeguarding, medication management, infection control, and health & safety compliance

• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, audits, and quality assurance

• Prepare for and manage CQC inspections

• Manage rotas, staffing levels, budgets, and occupancy

• Liaise with residents, families, healthcare professionals, local authorities, and regulators

• Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Registered Care Manager in a residential care home

• Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and inspection processes

• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills

• Right to work in the UK or eligibility for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship

Salary & Benefits

Pay: £32,000.00–£38,000.00 per year
