Responsibilities
- Engage in outside sales activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories
- Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing support, upselling products, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Develop strategic business plans to increase market share through targeted lead generation and prospecting efforts
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients, showcasing the value of our solutions
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining profitability
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement territory-specific campaigns and promotional activities
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, sales activities, and territory developments for reporting purposes
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales within the telecom industry (VoIP and Teams calling)
- Strong background in account management, business development, and direct sales strategies
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, cold calling, and closing complex sales deals
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with outstanding communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans based on data insights
- Experience delivering product demos, conducting technical presentations, and upselling solutions in a competitive environment
