About the Role

EMKAP UK LTD is looking for a motivated Compliance Analyst to join their London team. This role is ideal for someone wanting to gain solid experience in compliance, AML/KYC, and regulatory reporting within an FCA-regulated investment firm. The company operates across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK and Cyprus.

Key Responsibilities

The Compliance Analyst will:

• Ensure the firm complies with regulatory standards across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct client onboarding and perform KYC/CDD checks.
• Monitor transactions and flag unusual or suspicious activity.
• Escalate potential compliance or financial crime concerns appropriately.
• Support development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
• Analyze regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.
• Assist in preparing regular compliance reports for internal stakeholders and management.
• Help maintain and enhance internal controls to prevent legal or regulatory breaches.
• Collaborate with internal teams including operations, front office, and risk.
• Facilitate staff training on compliance policies and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical practices across the firm.

Candidate Requirements

Ideal candidates should have:

• A degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in compliance, AML, law, or financial services (a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good organizational and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
