Overview
The Digital Builder (Administrator) role is ideal for someone who enjoys behind-the-scenes work, who likes things to be beautifully organised, is highly meticulous with keen attention to detail, and who wants to develop their skills while supporting a range of businesses.
About Sprout Business Ltd
Sprout Business provides outsourced business support to small and growing companies that need to stabilise, organise, or prepare for growth. Sprout Business Ltd works with clients who are very good at what they do, but who need stronger systems, structure, and support behind-the-scenes to move forward confidently.
Rather than hiring in-house too early, clients access a flexible Sprout team with skills across operations, administration, HR, compliance, digital systems, marketing support, bids and tenders, training, coaching and strategy. Sprout Business Ltd works across a wide range of industries, from one-person businesses to organisations of up to 50 employees.
At Sprout, high standards, clear thinking, and practical delivery are a priority. The work helps clients reduce overwhelm, improve efficiency, and build solid foundations for growth.
About the Role
This role is the absolute backbone and bedrock of the work carried out.
As an Administrator at Sprout, you help build and maintain the digital systems and processes that allow client businesses to run smoothly. Without this foundation, businesses struggle to stay organised or grow safely – which is why this role is essential.
You’ll work remotely across multiple client accounts, supporting different projects and tasks. You’ll be guided by a Project Lead, who sets priorities and acts as the main contact with the client.
The role is varied, hands-on, and detail-focused. It suits someone who enjoys creating order, working digitally, and supporting others to work more effectively.
Your Duties
Your work will vary by client, but typically includes:
Setting up and organising digital filing systems (cloud storage, email folders).
Creating and maintaining organisational systems to track task management and progress (in the form of spreadsheets, softwares or apps).
Managing digital calendars and shared inboxes.
Providing virtual assistant support (e.g. email replies, completing forms).
Data entry and record keeping.
Creating documents and templates (emails, spreadsheets, forms, written guidance).
Taking notes or minutes in meetings.
Carrying out online tasks (e.g. submitting forms, using portals, making payments).
Supporting onboarding and offboarding of staff, subcontractors, or clients.
Carrying out research as required.
Providing administrative support to Sprout’s Project Lead and/or Specialists.
Any other duties as required.
