This is not just a standard tutoring role. In addition to delivering quality tuition sessions, the successful candidate will play a key part in shaping the academic reputation of My Legacy Tutors and will feature prominently across the website and marketing channels.
The Role
My Legacy Tutors is looking for an experienced and highly credible GCSE Maths teacher who combines outstanding subject knowledge with polished presentation and professional presence.
In addition to delivering high-quality online lessons, the successful candidate will act as a brand ambassador, representing the values, teaching ethos, and commitment to excellence of My Legacy Tutors.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, structured, and results-driven GCSE Maths lessons online
Plan and adapt lessons to suit a range of abilities, including Higher and Foundation tiers
Build strong rapport with students and parents through clear communication and professionalism
Maintain high academic standards and measurable student progress
Act as a brand ambassador, including:
Featuring on the My Legacy Tutors website (profile, photo, and short bio)
Possibly appearing in promotional or informational content (e.g. short videos or testimonials)
Upholding the company’s premium image in all interactions
Essential Requirements
Proven GCSE Maths teaching experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Familiarity with exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR)
Strong track record of helping students achieve excellent results
Confident teaching Maths up to Grade 9 / Higher Tier
Excellent communication skills and a professional, polished manner
Comfortable appearing on a website and representing a premium brand
Reliable, organised, and committed to high standards
