Job Summary
Lotus Academy is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team supporting neurodiverse learners. The role involves working in a supportive, small-class environment, assisting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with communication and interaction needs or a diagnosis of Autism.
Candidates will support whole-class lessons, group activities, and one-to-one sessions, helping students access learning, meet personal care needs, and celebrate their achievements. Knowledge of SEN and the ability to respond to emotional, social, and mental health needs is advantageous.

About Lotus Hub @ Stocksbridge
Lotus Hub @ Stocksbridge is a new provision opened in September 2025, designed for neurodiverse learners within a nurturing, aspirational environment. Situated within Stocksbridge High School, the hub initially supports up to 20 Key Stage 3 students, expanding to Key Stage 4 over time.
The hub offers:
