Day-to-Day Role
Home Care Assistants travel locally to visit clients in their own homes and support them to live independently, safely, and comfortably. Duties focus on daily living assistance and providing companionship to enhance clients’ quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support clients with mobility and daily living activities
Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands when required
Communicate effectively to understand client needs and preferences
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with light household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying
Maintain accurate care documentation and reporting
Qualifications & Requirements
No previous experience required – full training provided
Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
Valid UK driving licence preferred for transportation duties
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliability and professionalism
Full Right to Work in the UK required
