About the Role
Careline Lifestyles is looking for compassionate, motivated, and reliable Support Workers to join the team at Wilkinson Park.
Support Workers assist individuals with mental health needs and physical disabilities, helping them to live safe, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Supporting residents with shopping, appointments, household tasks, and medication administration
Assisting individuals with complex needs, including behaviours that challenge
Building trusting relationships, encouraging independence, and promoting positive life experiences
Using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to help residents make choices, develop skills, and feel valued
This role goes beyond personal care – it’s about making a meaningful difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
Support residents to maintain dignity, independence, and personal choice
Engage residents in activities inside the home and in the community
Assist with personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, and daily routines
Provide safe and appropriate support for individuals with complex needs
Use Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to promote well-being and reduce distress
Build strong, trusting relationships through active listening and meaningful engagement
Follow care plans and maintain a safe, supportive environment
Encourage social interaction, community participation, and healthy lifestyle choices
