Overview
Ripon and District Homecare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, and home care environments.
Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Support patients with medication administration following prescribed protocols
Support with daily tasks such as shopping, cleaning and cooking
Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
Maintain accurate care records
Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures
Qualifications
No previous experience is necessary, full training will be given
Care certificate to be completed if no previous qualifications
Valid driving licence for transportation duties
Strong communication skills and empathetic nature
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required
