What Does the Role Involve?
Every day is different. Support Workers help people live the life they choose whether that’s learning new skills, contributing to their community, or enjoying hobbies and days out.
Examples include:
- Supporting James as he volunteers at a local food bank
- Helping Lucy get ready for horse riding
- Cheering on Graham as he becomes more independent
- Joining David as he creates his next creative project

- Experience not required values & commitment matter most

Training and Development
MacIntyre fully supports training and development. New starters receive eLearning, face-to-face training, and mentoring during probation, along with on-the-job support.
Throughout a career at MacIntyre, staff have access to in-house Learning and Development teams, Quality Specialists, and HR teams. These teams, along with managers, provide ongoing opportunities for professional growth, qualifications, and career progression — all free of charge.
