Job Overview

Active Care Group is hiring a motivated Support Worker to join its dedicated team, assisting a male client with a brain injury at home and in the community.

This role involves understanding and supporting the client’s journey, learning about his goals, addressing challenges, and fostering effective communication to meet his specific needs. The Support Worker will also assist in selecting meaningful daily activities.

The client maintains interests in sports, music, concerts, and dining out. A valid UK driving licence is essential for driving his car during community outings.

As the client is a wheelchair user, mobility techniques will be taught through training provided by experienced team members, with continuous learning for ongoing skill development.

Working Environment

The client’s home is spacious and located near the sea, offering the opportunity to assist in enjoying both the house and garden. This role allows the Support Worker to make a meaningful impact on the client’s quality of life.

No previous experience is required. Full training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support will be provided.

Work Schedule

  • Day and night shifts available

  • 8am – 8pm / 8pm – 8am

  • Full-time and part-time positions
