Overview

We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor who is looking to recruit a professional and organised Call Handler to join the team based in Walton-on-Thames. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role, ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a confident telephone manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming calls from tenants, clients, and internal teams in a professional and timely manner
  • Logging calls accurately onto internal systems and maintaining up-to-date records
  • Raising and scheduling jobs for maintenance and repairs
  • Liaising with operatives, subcontractors, and site teams to coordinate works
  • Providing updates to customers and ensuring a high level of customer service at all times
  • Managing email enquiries and supporting general administrative duties
  • Escalating urgent or complex issues where required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a call handling, customer service, or administrative role
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy when inputting data
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience within construction, housing, or maintenance (desirable but not essential)
