Job Overview

Kernow Tuition is looking for a reliable and creative Social Media Assistant to manage their Facebook and Instagram presence. This junior, part-time role is ideal for students or early-career content creators who enjoy producing calm, informative social media content with clear guidance.

This role follows a pre-planned monthly content framework and does not require daily posting, trend-chasing, or sales-heavy content.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 10–12 feed posts per month using Canva

• Produce 4 simple educational or text-based Reels per month

• Schedule content on Facebook and Instagram

• Follow the monthly content framework and brand tone

• Batch content for one approval check each month

What This Role Is Not

• No daily posting

• No community management or replying to messages

• No campaign strategy or analytics reporting

• No work on TikTok, LinkedIn, or Twitter

• No trend monitoring required

Qualifications

• Confident using Canva

• Comfortable creating short-form video content (Reels)

• Good written communication skills

• Organised and able to work to a content plan

• Interest in education or working with families is a bonus

• Students and junior applicants welcome; extensive experience is not required

Hours & Pay

• Approx. 5–6 hours per month

• Remote and flexible working

• Paid at minimum wage / fixed monthly rate
