Remote Social Media and Content Manager At Access2Learn

Job Purpose

Responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across all digital platforms. This role combines creativity with data-driven decision-making to ensure content aligns with business objectives and resonates with target audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a social media and content strategy aligned with brand goals.

  • Plan and manage content calendars across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, X, etc.).

  • Produce engaging, high-quality content (copy, graphics, videos) tailored to each channel.

  • Producing directly or collaborate with designers, videographers, and other stakeholders for multimedia assets.

  • Monitor, respond, and engage with followers to build strong online communities.

  • Manage social listening and reputation monitoring.

  • Track KPIs (engagement, reach, conversions) and optimize campaigns based on insights.

  • Prepare monthly performance reports and recommendations.

  • Manage paid social advertising campaigns, including budgeting and targeting.

  • Oversee blog content strategy and ensure SEO best practices.

  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and competitor activity.

  • Assisting with generating new business

  • Attend meetings and events to promote A2L and its service – travel will be expected

  • Understand customer needs and develop plans to address them

  • Gain solid knowledge of competitors to stay ahead of them

  • Create and enforce plans that will help meet the business need

  • Help promote and maintain a positive company image

  • Utilise the statistics, KPIs and SLAs to ensure delivery is meeting client expectations

  • Support the implementing strategies to boost business revenue

  • To produce communications and updates to all stakeholders and internal delivery teams that provides them with timely and relevant information

  • To coordinate feedback from clients and stakeholders, and relay to the appropriate senior manager or team leader for dissemination with the appropriate teams.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation.

  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.

  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar.

  • Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.).

  • Understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

  • Extensive experience in representing organisation with stakeholders and a wide range of audiences

  • Extensive experience of being a positive role model for an organisation Previous experience of engaging with stakeholders

  • To have experience in collaborative working across an organisation

  • Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office software, database systems, marketing platforms

Desirable Criteria

  • 3+ years in a similar role.

  • Experience in disability awareness or similar.

  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and partnerships.
