Job Overview
Kernow Tuition is looking for a reliable and creative Social Media Assistant to manage their Facebook and Instagram presence. This junior, part-time role is ideal for students or early-career content creators who enjoy producing calm, informative social media content with clear guidance.
This role follows a pre-planned monthly content framework and does not require daily posting, trend-chasing, or sales-heavy content.
Key Responsibilities
Create 10–12 feed posts per month using Canva
Produce 4 simple educational or text-based Reels per month
Schedule content on Facebook and Instagram
Follow the monthly content framework and brand tone
Batch content for one approval check each month
What This Role Is Not
No daily posting
No community management or replying to messages
No campaign strategy or analytics reporting
No work on TikTok, LinkedIn, or Twitter
No trend monitoring required
Qualifications
Confident using Canva
Comfortable creating short-form video content (Reels)
Good written communication skills
Organised and able to work to a content plan
Interest in education or working with families is a bonus
Students and junior applicants welcome; extensive experience is not required
Hours & Pay
Approx. 5–6 hours per month
Remote and flexible working
Paid at minimum wage / fixed monthly rate
