About the Role

The Web Design Intern will take full ownership of the design and redevelopment of Panmure Liberum’s website, leading the project from concept to delivery alongside the Engineering and Communications teams. This role is pivotal in shaping the company’s digital presence, ensuring a modern, user-friendly website aligned with the brand identity. The successful candidate will work closely with the Technology Team while driving the creative and structural vision for the site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and redevelopment of the company website, ensuring a high-quality user experience

  • Develop and implement a clear design strategy aligned with business objectives

  • Manage the end-to-end design process, from wireframes and prototypes to final deployment

  • Ensure the website is responsive, accessible, and optimised for performance

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and incorporate feedback

  • Maintain consistency in branding and visual identity across all web pages

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of web design principles, UX/UI concepts, and responsive design

  • Demonstrated experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a CMS such as WordPress or Umbraco

  • Familiarity with popular graphic design applications for site artwork preparation

  • Ability to take initiative and lead a project independently

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and presenting ideas

  • Portfolio of completed projects to demonstrate relevant skills and experience
