About the Role

Superscript is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Graduate Intern to support the finance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or final-year students seeking hands-on experience in:

• Brokerage finance

• Client premium management

• Insurer settlements

• Commission reporting

The intern will work closely with the placement, servicing, and accounting teams to gain practical exposure to finance operations within an insurance brokerage.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyze financial data related to client premiums and broker commissions

• Support commission calculations, bordereaux, and revenue analysis

• Reconcile insurer statements and commission income

• Track receivables, payables, and cash flow for client and insurer settlements

• Assist with expense processing and tracking

• Support preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports

• Provide general administrative and analytical support to the finance team

About You

• Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial reporting is advantageous

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

• Interest in insurance brokerage, financial services, or risk management

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Good written and verbal communication skills
