Job Overview
Nesso Leeds is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to assist in producing engaging Reels content. This paid internship provides practical experience in social media management and public relations.
The successful candidate will support the team in creating visually appealing and compelling short-form videos for the restaurant and bar, working alongside an award-winning chef who appeared on BBC MasterChef.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and organize Reels shoots, ensuring all necessary equipment and props are ready
Support filming, including setting up scenes, managing lighting, and capturing high-quality footage
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm innovative content ideas aligned with trends and brand identity
Edit video clips to produce polished Reels for social media channels
Monitor engagement metrics post-publication to assess performance and inform future projects
Maintain an organized archive of video content and related assets
Assist with general social media management, including scheduling posts and engaging with followers
Required Skills
Strong interest or background in public relations and social media management
Creative flair with an eye for visual storytelling and attention to detail
Basic video editing skills; familiarity with software like Adobe Premiere Pro is advantageous
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks under deadlines
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to adapt quickly to new tools, trends, and feedback in a fast-paced environment
