Job Summary

Magnus Care Ltd is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in a home care or care home setting. This role requires effective communication skills, adherence to care plans, and a commitment to enhancing client well-being. A valid driving licence is preferred to assist with transportation needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.

• Follow individual care plans to deliver personalised support effectively.

• Communicate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals regarding client progress and concerns.

• Maintain accurate records of care and report any changes in client condition.

• Support clients in social activities and encourage community engagement.

• Ensure a safe and clean environment by following health and safety regulations.

• Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Basic IT skills for maintaining records and team communication.

• Valid driving licence advantageous for client transportation.

• Genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support.
