Job Overview
At Garforth Residential Homes, a Care Assistant is required to work 15 hours per week alongside established teams (agency staff are not used).
The Hollies is a residential care home where residents have dementia care needs. St Armand’s Court is the sister home located next door and caters for general residential care.
Care Assistants will be required to deliver personal and psychological care to ensure residents’ care needs are being met. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
Pay and Training
The salary ranges from £12.21–£12.43 per hour dependent on qualifications.
Free training will be provided and staff will have the option to complete an apprenticeship to further qualifications, following a successful probationary period.
Working Hours and Shifts
Contracted hours will be between 15–30 per week and worked on a roster over seven days.
Shift times will be either:
7am–2.30pm
2.30pm–10pm
