Job Overview
I am looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to help grow and develop the online presence of the Going OB Podcast, a fast-growing golf media brand focused on storytelling, entertainment, and the world of amateur and recreational golf.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a portfolio in social media, content creation, or digital marketing. The role is designed as a development opportunity and may be suitable for a college/university placement or portfolio-building experience.
In the future, as the platform grows and generates revenue, there may be opportunities for paid work or revenue-based incentives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Going OB’s social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Edit and repurpose podcast clips into engaging short-form content
- Create post captions, hashtags, and upload schedules
- Help develop content ideas and viral concepts
- Track performance and suggest improvements
- Engage with the audience and build community interaction
What I’m Looking For
- Interest in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
- Basic editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar)
- Creative mindset with an understanding of online trends
- Passion for sport (golf knowledge is a bonus, not essential)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Eager to build a portfolio and gain real-world experience
