Duties
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, accommodation management, and F&B outlets to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate staff across departments such as front desk, housekeeping, food service, and human resources to foster a positive work environment.
- Manage revenue streams through effective revenue management strategies, budgeting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining high standards of guest relations, addressing concerns promptly, and implementing service improvements.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to oversee restaurant operations, event catering, and special functions ensuring quality standards are met.
- Implement training programs on phone etiquette, multi-line phone systems, guest services protocols, and hospitality best practices.
- Conduct regular audits including night audits and financial reconciliations; prepare reports on occupancy rates, revenue performance, and operational issues.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies while fostering a welcoming environment for guests from diverse backgrounds—multilingual or bilingual skills are highly valued.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within hospitality management or hotel operations with strong leadership capabilities.
- Extensive knowledge of hotel management systems, revenue management techniques, and guest services excellence.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations diplomatically and professionally.
- Strong understanding of human resources practices including staff training, scheduling, and conflict resolution.
- Skilled in budgeting, financial analysis, night audit procedures, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities that facilitate communication with diverse guests and staff members.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in front desk operations and multi-line phone systems; adept at maintaining professional phone etiquette.
- Experience working in resort environments or large-scale hotels is preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards across different cultures enhances service delivery.
