Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and transaction recording using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft
• Supporting accounts payable processes by processing invoices and reconciling payments
• Helping prepare financial reports and statements under supervision
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with organisational policies
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and audit preparations
• Providing administrative support for financial management activities as required
• Participating in mentoring sessions to develop accounting knowledge and skills

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft is desirable
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Good numerical and analytical abilities
• Willingness to learn about financial services and accounting processes
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Prior experience or education in finance or accounting is an advantage but not essential (training provided)
