Job Introduction
Orchard Court Care Home is a family-run business operating care homes for the last 20 years. The organisation is currently seeking empathetic, caring, and compassionate individuals to join the team.
Day and night vacancies are available:
Day shifts: 7am–7pm (choose 7am–1pm or 1pm–7pm)
Night shifts: 7pm–7am
No experience is required as all training will be provided and paid for upon a successful application.
Responsibilities
Assist with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors
Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Help with meal preparation and feeding
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
Escort seniors to appointments and social outings
Monitor and report any changes in senior’s health or behaviour
Required Skills
Compassionate and empathetic towards seniors
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with seniors and their families
Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
Physical stamina to assist seniors with mobility issues
This position requires a caring individual dedicated to providing high-quality care for seniors.
