Role Overview
Join a dedicated team as a Community Care Worker, supporting residents in their own homes across Cornwall. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing care and support to the elderly, individuals with learning disabilities, and those with complex needs.
The role focuses on helping residents develop independent living skills in a safe and stimulating environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care to residents, helping them with daily living activities
- Promote independence while ensuring safety and well-being
- Assist with personal care and support as needed, including medication administration
- Work closely with other team members to create a positive and supportive environment
- Follow tailored care plans designed to meet individual needs and preferences
Required Skills & Qualifications
- No previous experience in social care required; full training will be provided
- Must hold a full UK driver’s licence
- Strong commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work long day shifts and adapt to residents’ needs
