Job Summary

Education and Training Academy Group is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to provide personalised academic support to students across various age groups. The successful candidate will assist learners in understanding subject material, developing effective study skills, and fostering confidence in their abilities.

Duties

• Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
• Develop customised lesson plans and learning materials to enhance understanding of subject content
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Support students with homework, exam preparation, and organisational skills
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages motivation and engagement
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff regarding student progress and challenges
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student achievements

Skills

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching across various subjects
• Strong communication skills to clearly explain concepts and motivate learners
• Experience working with children or young adults, including those with special educational needs
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
• Organisational skills to plan lessons efficiently and track student progress effectively

Requirements

Must hold a recognised UK teaching qualification

Pay and Work Schedule

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
