Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support patients with meal preparation and ensure they receive proper nutrition
• Assist in manual handling and transferring of patients as required
• Monitor and document patient behaviour and health status, reporting any changes to management, family, and health professionals
• Engage with patients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life
• Accompany patients to appointments or social activities when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid driving licence with clean driving record preferred
• Experience working in home care
• Knowledge of developing and implementing care plans
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
• Competent IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
