About the Role
A2B Taxi Cabs is seeking Part-Time Passenger Assistants to support drivers on school contract routes, Monday to Friday, term-time only.
No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.
Passenger Assistants help drivers by providing support while passengers embark, disembark, and during the journey. This role requires patience, a level-headed approach, and an understanding of disability issues to ensure excellent service.
Work Schedule and Hours

Part-time role: 8–15 hours per week, depending on route allocation

Morning: 7:30 am – 9:30 am

Afternoon: 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Term-time only
Key Requirements

Understanding of disability issues and ability to work with patience and professionalism

Willingness to complete a criminal record background check

Ability to work towards PAT training qualification and safeguarding course in own time

English language proficiency required

UK work authorisation required
Preferred:

Experience assisting passengers on school runs (1 year)
