Job Summary
House of Caring Ltd is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to provide exceptional care to clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, strong communication skills, and the ability to supervise other staff members. This role involves supporting daily living activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of clients.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and other daily activities.
Implement individualised care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Supervise junior staff members and provide guidance as needed.
Accurately document all care provided according to regulatory standards.
Support clients in community outings or activities, ensuring their safety.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills in senior care.
Requirements
Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Driver’s licence with full UK driving rights preferred.
Leadership experience with the ability to supervise others is desirable.
Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans.
Compassionate approach to caregiving and commitment to enhancing clients’ quality of life.
IT skills for maintaining records and documentation efficiently.
Sponsorship and Visa Switching
House of Caring Ltd offers sponsorship for the right candidate. Applicants currently on a different visa who wish to switch to a Skilled Worker Visa will be considered.
