Job Description
£13.50 – £14.00 per hour plus 45p per mile.
Home Instead Aylesbury have the opportunity for a Sponsorship switch.
Are you on sponsorship with a Domiciliary Care Agency, but not getting the required hours? If so Home Instead would love to hear from you!
As a full-time Care Professional, you will have guaranteed contracted hours. As part of this, it is required that you be flexible in regard to your hours of work, and you are available to work weekends as well as evenings.
Your tasks as a Care Assistant will be based around the following:
Providing personal care
Administering medication
Assisting with daily living
Home help tasks
Being a friendly companion to clients
Preparing meals and monitoring client’s diets
Assisting to appointments
Ensuring that clients can remain independent in their own homes
A Care Assistant with Home Instead is someone who has a kind and compassionate heart, and wants to make a true difference to the quality of life for seniors. Care Assistants provide support that is completely personalised to the individual based on a close bond being formed through shared experiences and interests. Qualifications
Home Instead is looking for someone who has at least one year of care experience in the past, be this in a domiciliary field, a care home, or a hospital setting.
To be considered for this role, you will need to already be in the UK and on Sponsorship. A drivers license and access to your own vehicle is beneficial.
An ideal candidate will have good people skills and be a warm and empathetic person, with a genuine passion for improving the lives of others around them.
