Job Summary

ÍNDIGO is seeking a motivated Data Analyst Intern to join a dynamic team. This paid internship provides an opportunity to develop key data analysis skills while gaining practical experience in a fast-paced environment. The intern will assist in analysing complex datasets, creating visualisations, and supporting project management activities. A strong interest in data-driven decision making and proficiency with relevant tools are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and VBA.

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualisations with Tableau and Power BI.

  • Support database design and optimisation using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Contribute to project management tasks aligned with the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).

  • Perform business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights supporting strategic decision-making.

  • Create documentation and visual representations of data workflows using Visio.

  • Collaborate with team members on analysis projects to ensure timely delivery of insights.

  • Assist in developing scripts using Bash (Unix shell) for data processing tasks.

Experience & Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a degree programme in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields.

  • Experience with data analysis tools such as R, Python, Power BI, or Tableau is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with SQL databases including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Basic understanding of SDLC processes and project management methodologies.

  • Knowledge of database design principles and business analysis techniques.

  • Exposure to VBA scripting or Bash (Unix shell) scripting is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.

  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail; able to work independently or collaboratively.
