Job Summary
ÍNDIGO is seeking a motivated Data Analyst Intern to join a dynamic team. This paid internship provides an opportunity to develop key data analysis skills while gaining practical experience in a fast-paced environment. The intern will assist in analysing complex datasets, creating visualisations, and supporting project management activities. A strong interest in data-driven decision making and proficiency with relevant tools are essential.
Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and VBA.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualisations with Tableau and Power BI.
Support database design and optimisation using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
Contribute to project management tasks aligned with the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
Perform business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights supporting strategic decision-making.
Create documentation and visual representations of data workflows using Visio.
Collaborate with team members on analysis projects to ensure timely delivery of insights.
Assist in developing scripts using Bash (Unix shell) for data processing tasks.
Experience & Skills
Currently enrolled in a degree programme in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields.
Experience with data analysis tools such as R, Python, Power BI, or Tableau is highly desirable.
Familiarity with SQL databases including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
Basic understanding of SDLC processes and project management methodologies.
Knowledge of database design principles and business analysis techniques.
Exposure to VBA scripting or Bash (Unix shell) scripting is advantageous.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail; able to work independently or collaboratively.
