Full Job Description
DealerKit is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to help evolve the day-to-day support experience for market-leading automotive business management SaaS platform, combining great customer care with ownership, initiative, and a passion for doing things well.
Responsibilities & Goals
Be a welcoming and dependable first point of contact for customer and internal support queries via tickets, email, phone, and chat (Intercom)
Take ownership of building strong knowledge and developing expertise on DealerKit’s features and capabilities
Support customers, helping them get the most from DealerKit and encouraging smarter, more efficient ways of working
Listen carefully to customer needs and challenges, helping continuously improve products and services
Investigate customer queries with care, initiative, and attention to detail, gathering information before responding or escalating
Resolve issues independently where possible, and escalate effectively when required, providing clear notes and context so action can be taken quickly
Deliver consistently high-quality support experiences that build trust, satisfaction, and mutual success through clear, calm and professional communication
Spot opportunities to improve processes and reduce repeat queries, sharing insights that help the whole team raise standards
Clearly log support issues so they can be tracked, reviewed, and learned from
Must Have Skills
Experience within automotive / motor trade positions (sales or service) and/or experience in a customer service position, preferably within online support
A logical, thoughtful approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to investigate and resolve issues independently
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
Comfortable working independently while also contributing closely as part of the team
Clear, friendly, and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable with apps & on the internet (e.g. installing an app is nothing new & the first place to research something is a search engine)
Confident with technology, including different devices and operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS), and comfortable with basic technical troubleshooting
Bonus Skills
Accountancy / book keeping experience
A good understanding of common web and technical concepts (eg. understanding the terms HTML, browser and cache)
Experience supporting SaaS products or working within a software or technology-led business
Confidence working with data, reports, or dashboards to spot trends, problems, or patterns
