Role Overview

Claremont Park Nursing Home is recruiting experienced PIN RGN staff nurses to join their friendly team in Edinburgh. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Candidates must have at least 2 years of UK nursing experience.

The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents in a small care home environment. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, motivation to provide the highest standards of care, and an interest in continuing personal professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for residents to ensure continuity of care

• Provide person-centred nursing care in all appropriate aspects of a care home environment

• Participate in ongoing training and development, including Dementia 1 & 2, Stress/Distress management, Fire Safety, Manual Handling, Medication, and more

• Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care

• Use appropriate PPE in line with current guidelines

Requirements

• Qualified RGN/RMN or ready to revalidate (management team can assist with revalidation)

• NMC registration required

• Genuine interest in working with the elderly

• Excellent communication skills in fluent English

• Willingness to become a member of the Disclosure Scotland PVG scheme

• Experience in elderly care and supervisory roles is advantageous but not essential
