We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our branch. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to clients within a domiciliary setting, supporting their daily needs and promoting their well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Support residents with mobility and daily activities, encouraging independence where possible.
- Administer medication as per care plans and document accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure personalised and consistent care.
- Contribute to the development and review of individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- No experience needed (All training will be provided for)
- Valid driving licence and Vehicle.
- DBS, current and on the update service.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately.
- Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in caring for older adults or those requiring additional support.
